Press Release Aug 21, 2019

August 21, 2019

HomeCare of Mid-Missouri (HCMM) is experiencing a period of rapid growth in patient services due in part to the addition of over 80 clients from another home care provider.  The additional patients made it necessary for HCMM to hire 24 additional health care workers, expanding HCMM’s total employees and contracted staff to over 150 people.

Along with a Healthcare Quality Score of 4 of 5 stars from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), HCMM expects to see continued growth in patients and patient services over the next twelve months.  The HCMM Board of Directors has recently formulated a strategic plan designed to align resources and operational focus in order to accommodate continued growth and ensure the highest level of patient care.  HCMM is above the state and national average in helping patients improve in managing daily activities, has shown exceptional care in helping patients keep from developing pressure ulcers and improved wound healing.  HCMM has received national recognition as the Top 500 Home Care Elite entities in 2018.

Established in February 1974 as a community service agency, HomeCare of Mid-Missouri began direct care to clients.  Randolph County Resource Council (RCRC), the forerunner agency, started as a social service organization delivering homemaker and transportation programs.  HomeCare of Mid-Missouri (RCRC) was founded by a number of different families and organizations including the Orschelns, Flemings, Catholic Fund, Methodist Fund, and Presbyterian Fund.

HomeCare of Mid-Missouri has developed into a multi-service home care agency, now serving thirty (30) counties in Mid-Missouri.  HCMM Board of Directors has a strong commitment to provide services to our local community and other areas where the need has been demonstrated and requested.

HomeCare of Mid-Missouri remains today a Non-Profit, 501C3, agency you can be proud to have as a compassionate, quality health care provider here in Mid-Missouri to serve our families, friends, neighbors & community.
